Further private interests are computer and sailing,
especially multihull competitions (my last boats were an adrenaline- pushing Hurricane 6.5
and a Nacra 6 SE Carbon as well as since 1998 a Corsair F-24).
I studied medicine in Düsseldorf and law in Münster. My profession is a really
interesting mix of law and medicine.
Let´s change the subject: All photos are taken from my own tanks. I use
a HP Photosmart digital camera.
This camera is cheap (unfortunately out of production now) and already a few years old,
but it is able of a very good color reproduction. Meanwhile there are more than 3.000
photos out of 9.000 in my harddisk-archive. If you have any idea of other really good
digital cameras for marine tank photographie, please let me know.
For quick loading of the website a very high compression with some quality loss had to be
selected with the photos: an uncompressed picture is about 900 kb as a tiff-file, but in
jpeg-mode - with 50 % dimension of picture area at height and width - there are only 10-15
kb left.
